Meet The Team

Dr. Roth is a Baltimore native (let's go O's!). She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Art History before discovering her passion for veterinary medicine. After spending a decade in the veterinary field, she attended the University of Illinois to obtain her DVM. She graduated with high honors and was inducted into the Phi Zeta Honor Society. After graduation, Dr. Roth moved back to the DC area for a year-long Small Animal Medicine & Surgery internship at a large specialty and referral hospital. She spent time as an emergency doctor before discovering her passion for long-term patient care and building lasting relationships with people and their pets. Dr. Roth is Fear Free Certified, RECOVER Certified in Basic & Advanced Life Support. Her advice to pet parents is "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure".

Outside of work, Dr. Roth enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, and exploring new places. She lives with her husband, two quirky rescue cats, and probably too many plants.

I was born and raised in Maryland. I grew up on a farm retraining off the track thoroughbreds. I have always had a love for animals, so I entered the veterinary field in 2018 as a receptionist. I joined the Nebel Street Animal Hospital in 2019 as a veterinary assistant, I then worked my way up to practice manager.

​I currently share my home with 2 dogs and 2 cats. I enjoy hiking with my dogs and spending time with family and friends.
